The Pool at Scarborough House
Scarborough House has a private heated saltwater pool on the estate grounds. The pool is open to all guests staying on the property and runs throughout the wedding weekend from Friday arrival through Sunday checkout. The Pool House sits adjacent to the pool and includes a shaded pergola covered in Carolina jessamine that serves as a second ceremony option. The pool courtyard is a popular gathering spot on Saturday morning before the ceremony and again late Saturday night after the reception send-off.
The pool is heated in shoulder season. There are lounge chairs and outdoor furniture on the pool deck. The estate is surrounded by hundreds of acres of active North Carolina farmland in Stantonsburg, NC, about 55 minutes east of Raleigh on US-264. For bachelor and groomsmen weekends, the pool runs all day alongside skeet shooting on the back fields and fire pits in the evening.
