The property had been neglected for over a decade when they purchased it. They removed 11 dumpsters of rotten material, poured a million pounds of concrete, ran 10 miles of wire, painted 9,000 square feet with 2,000 gallons of paint, and built the venue operation entirely from scratch.
Scarborough House now operates as a private estate wedding venue with 13 bedrooms sleeping 28 overnight guests in standard bedroom beds, plus a bonus twin bed for 29 fixed overnight bed spaces, a pool, fire pits, and full exclusive weekend buyouts. The standard $10,500 package supports up to 200 event guests. The pavilion plus patio accommodates around 250 event guests subject to venue review, while up to 300 event guests requires a custom quote, venue approval, and client-paid rentals and infrastructure. Located in Wilson County, NC on US-264 — 55 minutes from Raleigh, 30 minutes from Greenville, 25 minutes from Goldsboro.
