The Grounds at Scarborough House
Ten acres of private land in Stantonsburg, North Carolina with nine separate buildings, five ceremony sites, a heated saltwater pool, multiple fire pits, and three acres of open lawn and farmland. The Magnolia Pavilion seats 250 plated guests. The Cedar Arch stands permanently in the back field wired with real power. A jasmine-covered pergola at the Pool House gives you a second ceremony option. Skeet shooting runs on the back fields. Basketball and lawn games fill the afternoon between ceremony and reception.
Features on the grounds include the estate sign at the gate photographed with every couple, the original hand-dug well from when the main house was built in 1821, a cast-iron bell from when the property served as a church and school, a hand-painted mural on the pavilion wall, a general store with provisions for guests, and a reveal room for the bride before the ceremony.
