The Magnolia Pavilion at Scarborough House
The Magnolia Pavilion is a covered open-air reception barn at Scarborough House in Stantonsburg, NC. It seats up to 250 guests plated and 300 cocktail-style. The pavilion has a full roof and open sides that catch the evening breeze, iron chandeliers, string lights strung across the ceiling, radiant heaters for shoulder-season warmth, and ten industrial ceiling fans for summer receptions. The White Oak Bar was milled on site from a tree that grew on the property. Built-in warming tables keep buffet service hot through the last guest in line.
The pavilion sits steps from all five ceremony sites on the estate. Your guests walk from the ceremony to the reception without driving. Amplified music runs until 11 PM. After the send-off the fire pits are open and the pool house is right there. The estate is at 7348 NC 222 in Stantonsburg, NC, about 55 minutes east of Raleigh on US-264 in Wilson County.
