The White Oak Bar at Scarborough House
The White Oak Bar inside the Magnolia Pavilion at Scarborough House was milled on site from a white oak tree that grew on the property. It is a single long bar top finished in a natural grain that runs the full width of the bar station. The bar is fixed and permanent — it is part of the pavilion structure, not a rental. Bartenders set up directly behind it, and the bar faces the main reception floor so service flows smoothly through the night.
The bar is one of the details that distinguishes the Magnolia Pavilion from a tent or generic event space. It was commissioned during the 2021 renovation and is made entirely from timber that came off the Scarborough House property. The pavilion plus patio accommodates around 250 event guests subject to venue review at 7348 NC 222 in Stantonsburg, NC, about 55 minutes east of Raleigh.
