Affordable Wedding Venues in Eastern NC (With Real Prices)
Try to find out what a wedding venue east of Raleigh actually costs. We did it so you do not have to, and here is the honest finding: most venues in eastern North Carolina do not publish their prices anywhere. You have to fill out a form, wait for a call, and sit through a pitch before you hear a number. We think that is backwards. We own Scarborough House in Stantonsburg, our prices are on our website, and this list only includes numbers a venue publishes itself. Every price below was pulled from each venue's own public website on July 21, 2026. Prices change, so always confirm directly with the venue.
Venues that publish real prices
Scarborough House, Stantonsburg (that is us)
A historic estate on working farmland between Wilson and Greenville. Three published packages: a weekday wedding at $2,500, a $5,500 all-inclusive micro wedding for up to 30 guests on Sundays and off-peak Saturdays, and the full $10,500 wedding weekend with 13 bedrooms on site from Friday to Sunday. The weekday package is one of the least expensive ways in eastern NC to get an entire private estate, and the weekend package folds the hotel block, the rehearsal dinner venue, and the after-party into one price. Amazing Graze Barn, Louisburg
A barn venue on the northwest edge of the region, about an hour from Wilson. Venue rental starts at $4,500 with no additional venue fees, for up to 200 guests, and they publish elopement packages starting at $1,195, $2,495, and $4,495. They require couples to carry event insurance, typically another $100 to $200. If you want a straightforward barn day with your own vendors, the math is easy to check because they put it in writing.
The Matthews House, Cary
For couples on the Raleigh end of the region: a historic house and garden venue in downtown Cary with wedding packages published at $6,000 to $7,000 on their own website, including a grand ballroom, garden space, and an event coordinator. A city option with a real number in writing.
Good venues that make you ask
Plenty of well-liked eastern NC venues simply do not publish prices: The Farm at 95 near Selma (a huge banquet hall seating 400 plus), Copper Ridge on the Neuse in New Bern, May-Lew Farm in Farmville, The Distillery and Whitaker and Atlantic in Raleigh, and most of the venues you will find in Wilson, Greenville, Goldsboro, and Rocky Mount. That does not make them bad venues. It does mean you should walk in with our 50 questions list and get the all-in number, in writing, before you fall in love.
How to compare quotes like a venue owner
- Always compare the all-in number. A $3,000 venue that makes you rent tables, chairs, and a tent is not cheaper than a $5,500 package that includes them.

Couples plan around real numbers. Hiding the price does not make a venue more affordable, it just wastes a month of your timeline.
