How Scarborough House Pricing Compares to Other Eastern NC Wedding Venues

Wedding Planning
Sparkler send-off at a Scarborough House wedding, a full-weekend estate venue near Raleigh, NC

If you have shopped Eastern North Carolina wedding venues, you have probably noticed the pricing is all over the place. Some venues quote an hourly rental. Others quote a full weekend. The words "all inclusive" mean something different at almost every property. So we pulled the published numbers from several nearby venues and lined them up next to ours, using the same "usually spend" figures The Knot shows couples when they search this area.

What "usually spend" means

The Knot tracks two numbers for every listed venue: a "starting" price (the venue's lowest possible rate) and a "usually spend" figure (what real couples typically pay once a date, season, and guest count are factored in). The usually-spend number is the more honest one to compare, since almost nobody books the absolute cheapest date and package.

These are published figures pulled from The Knot as of late September 2026. Peak-season numbers unless the venue notes otherwise.

Why the gap exists

Seven Paths Manor is the closest comparison to what we offer: a full Friday-noon-to-Sunday-noon estate buyout with on-site lodging, which is the same basic promise as a Scarborough House wedding weekend. Their published weekend rate runs from roughly $20,800 to $25,400 plus tax. Ours starts at $10,500. We are not pointing this out to criticize Seven Paths, their property looks lovely and their couples clearly love it. We are pointing it out because if you have been pricing out a full weekend estate wedding near Raleigh or Wilson, NC and assumed that experience had to cost $20,000 or more, it does not have to.

What you actually get for $10,500

Thinking about touring? Most couples know within the first ten minutes on the grounds. See tour times or check pricing first.

A fair warning before you compare

Every number above came from a venue's own public listing or website, pulled on a single day. Wedding venues adjust pricing constantly, including us, and a quote you see today may not match what you are offered when you actually call. Please confirm current pricing and availability directly with any venue mentioned here before making a decision, including Scarborough House. If something above is outdated, wrong, or needs to come down, email us at [email protected] and we will fix it.
