Scarborough House in Stantonsburg is about 57 minutes from Raleigh. That drive can be a reasonable trade for a couple who wants an estate setting and a weekend format, but distance is not automatically a benefit. Consider guest travel, overnight plans and the complete budget before deciding whether a venue outside the city suits your guests.

Map the trip from where guests will actually start: home, hotel or another weekend event. Add time for arrival, parking and getting to the ceremony. Check lodging against the invite list
Scarborough House has 13 bedrooms with standard bedroom beds for 28 overnight guests. One additional twin in the open bonus area brings the fixed bed total to 29, but that space is not a bedroom. These are lodging numbers, not event capacity. They may cover a wedding party or close family, not every invitee.
